Over and above. Manasota Cooling & Heating is an exceptional HVAC business. It's rare to find an owner operator with Alex's depth of experience and level of conscientiousness who genuinely cares about the customer experience. We contracted with Manasota for an AC/Air Handler/Heat Pump rip and replacement project and after removing all of the legacy equipment found numerous deficiencies with existing infrastructure that required prompt remedy before we could install the new equipment. This included removal, reconstruction and installation of the plenum and return ducting plus the Air Handler closet was moldy behind the legacy unit and required a full gut and reinstall with PVC board before we could proceed. Alex helped us access his network of contacts to help and resolve the air handler closet in a timely and cost effective manner as we were effectively left without central air in the middle of August in SW Florida with only 2 portable AC's supplied by Manasota to ensure we at least had a cool room to sleep in (my son and I camped out in the bonus room). Alex's techs Corey and Nick even came out on a Saturday after a very long week of projects to ensure we were up and running. Then Alex stopped by himself to double check the work, tweak a couple things and address a small snafu that the techs were struggling with (after already having worked 11 hours straight on a Saturday after an already long week). If you work with Alex and his team you can be assured of competency, conscientiousness and completeness. This is a family business that treats the customer like family. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again or to recommend them.

Company, I purchased my AC from came out because it was no longer working and it’s only five years old. They told me the replacement price was going to be over $2000 for the part that was not working even after part of it was covered by warranty. So I Called this company.
What a breath of fresh air! They immediately diagnose the problem and it was not even the same part that was out. They were able to resolve the issue quickly and have ordered the parts and will have cold air very soon.
A fraction of the price. I highly recommend them!

By far the best company I've used. My original company I used to install my trane unit after needing a service call would come out under warranty and still find some way to charge 1100 then again a week later 1300 and after the second time the unit still didn't run. Called manasota cooling and had his team come out and found my problem to be a nightmare. So they sent the boss Alex because the issue was something that no one could figure out so Alex came himself who is the companies owner on a Sunday even and after about an hour he had it figured out and running. And my original company said I also needed a coil cleaning because I've got an animal and that it was clogged up and that it was going to void the warranty and I needed to do that at 1300 hundred as well and when asked came he said he would do it for 800 but after inspecting it said he could do a simple coil clean in place and that it wasn't really bad at all for 500 so not only did he quote me a price but then after seeing it said he would do it for less as it wasn't that bad. I just appreciate honesty from someone who could've stuck with the original price we agreed upon but choose to do what it exactly needed for less not what just cost the most to get more money from someone who doesn't have it on that level. Great company even the original techs he sent were professional, courteous, worked around my animal and did they're best not to let him out, and by the end I tied them$100 dollars. I love on Pinellas so for him to come here from Sarasota county is a little ways but I wouldn't call anyone ever again but this company. Thanks again for your superior outstanding service and when you run a company this way you will only prosper because customers really see the differences with a quality company looking out for their customers and a company who wants to take every dollar they can get from you and going as far as saying they will void my warranty if I didn't do what they said right then. Thanks Alex and your team at manasota cooling your the only one I'll let back into my home.

I cannot recommend this company enough. They were very responsive, professional and affordable. They did a job that cost 4 times less than what another company quoted me AND they did it same day with no “after hours diagnostic charge.” The other company could only put me on a schedule for the next day with no definitive time. Living in south Florida, it’s tough going one hour without AC let alone 24. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Can’t say enough nice things about Manasota Cooling & Heating. As I was investigating a new system this company was kind, hellful, and walked me through the process. While several larger companies had me wait a day or more to have someone come out to inspect my system and offer a quote, Manasota came out the same day. They provided their quotes, yes 2 quotes, that provided 10 year service labor and parts. Also is owned by a Veteran and offered a Vetern discount, just incredible. If fact the offered at no cost to come out today Friday, to ensure that our system had a sufficient charge to make it through tge weekend until the install at no charge. In fact I was told by the technician to call if additional service was needed over the weekend. Just don’t find great people like this anymore.

I had a great experience with Manasota Cooling & Heating. After getting a few opinions on an HVAC issue, I ended up working with them to replace an evaporator coil—and I’m very glad I did.
Corey was our technician and he was outstanding from start to finish—knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. He clearly explained the issue, walked me through the repair, and answered all of my questions without any pressure.
The repair was completed in under 3 hours, everything is now running perfectly, and the pricing was fair and transparent—significantly more reasonable than other quotes I received.
It was a night-and-day difference compared to other experiences I had while getting quotes. Highly recommend Manasota Cooling & Heating, and especially Corey if you can request him.

Our AC went out last night and Alex came today to get it fixed for us! He came between the times he said he would. He diagnosed things and then went out to get a part for us. The prices are also reasonable!
It was going to take longer than expected and we got a call from someone at his office letting us know he would be delayed! Wow!
It's been over 100 with the heat index and one night was hard with no AC. We were worried we'd not have any for days, but luckily we got referred to MANASOTA COOLING AND HEATING!

Exceptional Service.Our AC went out in 90+ degree heat and the owner Alex was next door helping our neighbor with her AC.He came right over afterward and found the leak in our AC unit.The next morning he brought us a brand new portable AC to use until he finished the repairs.He spotted that our thermostat was about to go down as well so we are all set now with wonderfully cool AC and couldn’t ask for a better company to always call and recommend to everyone in the Venice,Englewood,North Port and surrounding areas.He is honest,reliable,affordable and works with warranties.He and his wife work very smoothly together and saved us from who knows how long without AC in a heat wave.

Called originally for a repair that turned into a replacement. Most people's worst nightmare, but not this time. From the time we realized it was the old units compressor to the new unit being in and cooling the house was less than a week. Very friendly and reasonable to work with. The company before him One Way Air charged me $85 and diagnosed a problem- said they were going to order the part and I called them back within a week and then someone else tells me they cannot order the part! But the 85 dollars was never credited back since the issue was not fixed! Manasota Cooling so far has been AWESOME!!!!

My A/C went out on the hottest day we have had his year. I called Alex at Manasota Cooling and Heating, and he was able to come out the same day and get my issue diagnosed. He had my A/C fixed way faster than I ever expected and kept me updated every step of the way. Even sent me a text to let me know when he was close to my house. Completed the repair at a great price and even made sure the drain was cleaned and everything was in great shape before they left. Could not have asked for better service. Alex is the most honest and helpful AC guy, or any other kind of contractor, that I’ve ever met. He shows up when he says he will and has super fair prices. He saved my elderly dad from getting ripped off for $18,000!!! By some other AC company ( ahem veteran air) was trying to scam my dad. Alex intervened and saved the day. Thank you Alex!!
